Job Description
This would be a great opportunity for someone to have a direct impact during a period of change and transition for this company, and to be instrumental in the development of the finance function.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the finance function - maintaining the accuracy of both financial and management reporting
- Providing commercial commentary on variances against budget, prior year forecasts and current forecasts
- Managing a team, including management accounts, billing and accounts receivable
- Driving and identifying process improvements both within and outside of finance
- VAT preparation and reconciliation monthly
- Completion of ONS forms as required
- Timely calculations of QIP payments
- Preparing year end audit files and leading the year end audit process
- Preparing financial statements for group companies ready for audit
