Job Description

Main duties for the Accounts Assistant role:

  • Check and process supplier invoices ensuring they are correctly recorded in Xero, handling any invoice queries with the suppliers
  • Recording Sales invoices for our private sales and servicing contracts, producing weekly debtor reports and monthly summaries
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Reconcile the bank statements
  • Reconcile card statements
  • Checking and processing weekly contractor invoices.
  • Processing manufacturer rebate claims

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT Qualified Competent In Xero accounts system Have excellent knowledge of the general accounting processes within a business – must have a minimum of 3 years experience
