Job Description
- Prepare VAT returns for multiple businesses including restaurants, wholesalers of textiles and furniture, fashion designers, and digital marketers
- Reconcile sales and purchase ledgers
- Prepare and reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare final accounts up to and including trial balance stage
- Prepare tax returns including all workings
- Work directly with the accountants to finalize accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Part qualified in AAT
- Knowledge of VT Transactions
- Ideally would have some experience working in an accountancy practice
- Excellent double entry bookkeeping skills
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and focus on getting the job done
- Good ability to work within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Liaise with clients and request all the information needed to complete the work
