Assisting with the trust accounting function for family trusts administered in our private client group.
Supporting the wider team particularly in client due diligence and the maintenance of client due diligence information for trustees and beneficiaries.
Posting of transactional information (usually in relation investment portfolios or rental properties) up to trial balance level; and subsequent generation of draft trust accounts.
Subject to the experience of the candidate there may be the opportunity to become involved in wider client financial reporting and calculations.
Cash flow forecasts or the calculation of taxable income and capital gains.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal a candidate will have a background in trust bookkeeping and commensurate experience on a related IT system
The candidate will have mainstream bookkeeping experience gained in a different environment and willing to train/specialise in trust accounting.
Proficiency with a mainstream accounting package such as xero is desirable with the willingness to become proficient on the troika system.
