Job Description
  •  Posting invoices and receipts to Sage
  •  Providing up to date information on debtors to Fee Earners and the Partners
  •  Keeping lists of outstanding fees up to date
  •  Regularly reconciling outstanding fees on Excel to Sage
  •  Coding and posting invoices
  •  Make and post payments on Purchase Ledger
  • Ensuring timely payments to Creditors
  •  Daily ruff off bank statements
  •  Ensuring that all cheques and Bacs receipts are recorded every day
  •  Posting payments
  •  Deposit cheques
  •  Providing immediate cash positions to Partners when required
  •  Replenishing float
  •  Reconciling Petty Cash at month end
  •  Recording payments and correctly deal with any vat on purchases
  •  Assisting with bank reconciliations and providing Bookkeeper with information necessary to complete Monthly Management Accounts
  •  Filing and storing electronic data
  •  Liaising with other Staff Members and Partners to ensure that data given to Accounts is timely and accurate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience working in Account Office
  •  Experience of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel
  •  High Level of Accuracy
  •  Mature and Helpful telephone manner
  •  Attention to detail
  •  Able to use own initiative
  •  Able to work under pressure
  •  Ability to liaise with other staff and partners
  •  Ability to record VAT accurately
