We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join us with responsibility for the effective operation of the Finance Shared Service Centre. The successful candidate will, in addition, ensure a high-quality service is provided with team members managed and supported to perform their roles to a high standard. This role will enable the Department to respond proactively and with agility to the fast-changing financial and operational environment across the University. Along with peers, the Finance Centre Manager is expected to display the behaviors of team-working, communication and relationship management required to foster a culture of respect, trust and effective service delivery across the Department. This role will develop effective relationships and the wider University, providing advice and contributing to University wide goals, sharing best practice and keep abreast of changing environment and policy.

This post is to cover the absence of the substantive post holder, who is taking a period of maternity leave. The post is available until the end of year in the first instance, or the actual return of the substantive post holder, or the resignation of the substantive post holder and employment of a new post holder, whichever is the earliest.
