The role is in a team responsible for the management of capital position, enhancing returns across the business, and executing market-facing solutions designed to better facilitate origination through improved capital efficiency.

The role will provide the opportunity to gain a broad overview of banking including an in depth understanding of the business, portfolio management and performance measurement as well as complex transaction structuring.

• Owning portfolio management of SRT securitization transactions and acting as a key deal team member for any new SRTs.
• Ensuring adherence to bank capital regulation e.g. CRR, and preparing the CCB portfolio for upcoming regulatory changes.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of key capital management initiatives.
• Delivering returns enhancement initiatives including the monitoring and improvement of low returning clients.
• Leading work streams including analysis, papers, presentations and other stakeholder engagement across a range of the team’s activities, such as capital, returns, pricing approach, risk methodology, securitizations, and portfolio solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to influence relationships at all levels
• Strong numerical skills
• Demonstrable organization, planning and time management skills, with effective prioritization of deadlines
• An understanding of capital regulations and how these align in the bank
• An in-depth knowledge of CCB systems, products, and procedures
• University degree in a quantitative or related discipline
