Job Description

This is a pivotal role in the business where you will be operating as a key decision-maker and will provide strategic and operational financial leadership across the UK region. You will be involved in driving robust financial controls across the region as well as organizational vision and will be responsible for successfully leading the finance team.
Key Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with stakeholders based globally, driving change and implementing improved financial controls
• Leadership and development of 4 direct reports with wider indirect reports.
• This includes an Accounts Payable Manager, Payroll Manager, Treasury Manager and Financial Accounting Manager
• Driving efficiencies and transformation through reviewing and developing the group’s financial management processes and supporting systems, ensuring all financial processes remain fit for purpose
• Responsibility for the annual audit under IFRS including managing the team through year-end
• Management of the treasury function and cash flow forecasting
• Successfully overseeing month-end, accounts payable and payroll for the UK region

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with proven experience managing a team of 10+, including transactional finance teams. You will know what good looks like and will be able to implement robust financial controls across a region. The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of finance professionals at various stages of their career is key to the success of this role. Strong working knowledge of IFRS is required, SAP is preferred. Experience working in a larger, complex business is desirable, as is knowledge of the consumer industry. This is an integral role where you will have exposure to the board and senior leadership team from day one, the ability to collaborate and communicate confidently is therefore critical.
