Job Description

This is a key role in the business where you will be operating as part of the senior management team, leading the transactional finance team of 10+ through change and finance transformation. You will be instrumental in implementing robust financial controls across the region and will have exposure to stakeholders based globally, up to board level.
Key Responsibilities include:

• Leadership and development of 15 (both direct and indirect reports) across transactional finance and general ledger
• Overseeing the payroll function for the UK region, involving extensive interaction with stakeholders based globally
• Driving finance transformation including reviewing existing processes and systems and improving efficiencies across the group
• Managing and leading the month-end and year-end processes, including working as the key point of contact for the auditors during audit
• Responsibility for the treasury management and providing the senior leadership team with cash flow reporting
• Leading the accounts payable team and taking ownership of managing key suppliers across the business
• Managing various finance projects in collaboration with the senior leadership team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will have a background in managing transactional finance teams of 15+ within a large, ideally multinational business. You will be able to manage finance transformation including having experience leading a team through change. The ability to roll up your sleeves in order to understand existing finance processes and drive improved controls accordingly is key to this role. The ability to communicate at all levels is essential, the role will have exposure to the senior leadership team as well as global stakeholders and will be very much be seen as a key position in the business.
