Job Description
- Creating new customers in accounting system
- Reviewing monthly physical distributor sales for correct formatting and data integrity
- Processing monthly physical distributor sales using in-house sales system, in line with month end timetable
- Processing monthly costs using accounting system
- Working with customers to agree balances and resolve any discrepancies
- Posting customer payments and correctly allocate to invoices
- Completing weekly bank reconciliations
- Uploading bank statements into accounting system
- Posting journals amounts for direct debits, standing orders, vendor refunds, bank charges, intercompany transactions
- Updating cashflow report template
- Providing narrative on transactions
- Updating balance sheet reconciliations for annual audit
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum four years of experience working in an accounting role, ideally within Media/Music/Entertainment
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communications skills
