Job Description

This position is responsible for originating sales for a single global key account by creating customer engagement plans, owning the customer relationship, deploying teams to identify new opportunities to build the opportunity pipeline.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Driving new customer engagement, maintain and improve existing customer relationships
  • Promoting the business value propositions of BKR to customer and internal stakeholders
  • Working in close collaboration with Global Headquarters (HQ), Global Business Segments/PL HQ, Region OFS and Region Business Segment/PL Sales & Commercial teams, inclusive of market intelligence, early engagement (EE), sales, technical sales, equipment & channel sales, accounts, commercial operations, commercial pricing, commercial risk, and commercial contracts teams
  • Identifying and tagging EE and Must-Win opportunities, ensuring their visibility to Global OFS HQ, Global Business Segment/PL HQ, Region OFS and Region Business Segment/PL teams
  • Leading business development planning for the Business Segment, in collaboration with sales and key account teams
  • Developing the Business Segment sales strategies for the specific global key account
  • Collaborating with Global OFS HQ, Global Business Segment/PL HQ, Region OFS and Region Business Segment/PL teams to develop the Business Segment and PL Commercial Intensity plans for the specific global key account
  • Setting the Business Segment and PL sales targets for the specific global key account and allocate / distribute the targets across the various regions, areas, or countries
  • Overseeing the selling of the product line’s portfolio, which may include saleable, services, and rentals
  • Coordinating and collaborating across several functional groups – technology, engineering, quality, commercial, legal, finance, billing & collections, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Have a Bachelor's level degree
  • Considerable experience in a Sales role
  • Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Ability to travel 25-75% of the time
  • Leading by knowing our strategy and activating the new Baker Hughes
  • Collaborating across product companies, regions, functions
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the external market and customer activity forecasts
  • Ability to influence others and lead various-sized teams
  • Leading initiatives and projects of high scope and impact
  • Ability to manage several high-profile projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem identification and solutioning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
