This is a wide-ranging senior role, offering varied and stimulating work and providing the opportunity to hone your existing skills and develop new ones. You will liaise with a wide range of academic and professional staff, including in RDM, the wider University, the NHS and national and international organizations. You will be the central point of contact for enquiries to the Head of Department and the Head of Administration and Finance. With your excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills, you will be able to work autonomously and exercise a high level of discretion, confidentiality and judgment.
You will bring significant experience of working as an executive/personal assistant or in a similar administrative role at a senior level. In a busy environment, you will be able to work efficiently and ensure the effective organization of the Head of Department’s and Head of Administration and Finance’s office by reviewing processes and procedures and implementing enhancements.
