Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with regards to all financial and accounting activities. Overseeing financial department staff in day-to-day operations for the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and priorities activities to deliver timely and accurate group reporting
  • Implement automated financial reporting via dashboards (e.g. Microsoft Power BI)
  • Ensure job reporting and forecasting is accurately maintained as well as providing real time data on current positioning
  • Consolidation of all group companies
  • Co-ordinate international subsidiaries (into ERP) to have single source data and develop automation of reporting and compliance with internal/external requirements including appropriate disclosures.
  • Lead in ensuring consistent and robust reporting across subsidiaries including KPIs
  • Facilitate and prepare relevant information for internal and external reporting
  • Oversee appropriate general ledger control accounts, accruals, prepayments & other to ensure compliance is maintained across group entities
  • Oversee variance reporting & various cost analyses for international subsidiaries as well as overall consolidation
  • Ensure accuracy of KPIs and trends for all companies; monitor and create systems to improve working capital metrics
  • Maintain budgets and forecasts for consolidation
  • Ensure full intercompany reconciliations agreed across the group as well as with US parent
  • Oversee group forex transactions including spot transactions and hedging
  • Management of group outsourced tax and audit, as well as liaison with auditors for year-end
  • Lead co-ordination for group financial statements
  • Oversee update and ongoing maintenance of finance manual to ensure all processes are accurately documented
  • Lead in ensuring compliance in financial systems and processes
  • Create and promote efficient working practices and protocols as well as developing systems
  • Oversee systems and processes used by international subsidiaries and promote synergies as necessary
  • Lead overall Finance Team
  • Support CFO in projects and initiatives as well as work with senior finance leads
