Job Description
  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts for the UK business and respective subsidiaries including accruals and prepayments
  • Maintain accounting support schedules and journal processing including calculations and back up
  • Completion of assigned balance sheet month reconciliations
  • Prepare and complete budget and forecasting templates
  • Undertake various financial analysis and reporting on stock movements, gross margin and department performance
  • Contribute to company financial strategy and decision making process on initiatives
  • Contribute to quality control over financial transactions and reporting
  • Access and support financial systems to identify and build relevant reports to support both finance and business functions
  • Assist Head of Finance in maintaining month end and year end reporting schedule
  • Ensure the accuracy of monthly Royalty accrual calculations, reconciliations , payments and quarterly reporting
  • Assist Head of Finance with managing the annual process and liaising with external auditors including supporting the preparation of year end statutory accounts
  • Oversee company Asia books, payments, bank reconciliations, annual reporting and audit working papers
  • Administer and maintain finance system chart of accounts and department allocations
  • Act and contingency and back up for the Financial Controllers responsibilities and cover for the other finance members for Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Update standard operating procedures for management accounting activities
  • Contribute to maintenance of efficient processes to ensure efficient financial control is exercised across the business
  • Provide ad hoc financial information and reports as and when required
  • Ad hoc tasks as requested by Head of Finance

  • Management Accountant
  • Knowledge/understanding of Management Accounting and reporting
  • High level of Excel competency plus skills in PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Desire to deliver against monthly timetable
  • Ability to interact internally across a variety of functions
  • Proactive in seeking out and achieving improved financial performance
  • Able to work on own initiative and a self starter
