Job Description
- Monitor and continually review the marketing project budgets, to support the Director’s budget management
- Prepare final monthly marketing financials, including review of POs, and corresponding variance analysis
- Update forecast models for monthly product sales units/income actuals
- Prepare and provide commentary as necessary on monthly balance sheet reconciliations and income statement accounts
- Prepare weekly additional analysis for label senior management
- Prepare and assist with finalizing profit share statements
- Undertake specific product marketing budget analysis, as directed by the Senior Financial Planning Director
- Assist in the review and delivery of monthly Project
- Prepare product to set pricing for new releases
- Prepare month end fixed cost journals and variance analysis
- Assist the Senior Financial Planning Director with forecast and budget specifics as required
- Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required within the finance teams
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Worked in a similar role before, ideally in the media sector
- Be studying towards a professional qualification ACCA/CIMA
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills and capability to work through problems logically
- Diligent with excellent attention to detail. Initiative, drive and strength of character.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible attitude towards working hours around key Finance deadlines
