Job Description
- Managing an Assistant Accountant, working closely with them and assisting on the input of finance data onto the system
- Producing month-end reports including management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Producing basic statutory accounts and liaising with auditors during month end
- Working closely with the senior leadership team, updating them on the organizations financial position daily
- Managing the treasury and preparing the weekly BACS runs
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Hold a full CCAB or equivalent accounting qualification
- Have experience across both financial and management accounting
- Ideally have worked within a central government body previously, however this is not required
