Job Description

You will partner on driving business strategy as well as having ownership over the day-to-day finance function.

• In-house finance from external 3rd party accountants
• Design and roll out key financial processes and controls ensuring that they are fit for continued international scale
• Work closely with the Founder on commercial initiatives including future fund raises, new product launches and geographical expansion
• Lead on budgeting, forecasting, planning & analyzing financial / non-financial KPIs
• Board and Investor reporting
• Build relationships across teams to enable effective business partnering
• Manage the day to day finance function:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Tax work including R&D, VAT and CT returns
  • Oversee transactional finance – AP / AR / expenses / payroll etc.
• Implement new technologies for automation purposes
• In time build, mentor and lead a finance team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant
• Hands-on experience of building a finance function for a high growth technology business (SaaS or marketplace experience is preferred however non-essential)
• Happy rolling your sleeves up
• Strong commercial acumen & established financial analyst / modeller
• Able to represent at board & investor meetings
• Xero experience as well as additional automation tools
