Job Description
The position offers opportunities for both personal and career development, supported by accredited training and support. You will be responsible for a multimillion-pound commodity portfolio, supporting a number of UK-wide manufacturing plants.
Key Duties:
- Data analysis (spending, pricing, quantities), market trends, including risk management when sourcing and procuring commodities such as steel, metal, timber, chemical powders etc. (Very important)
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier selection, qualification, and relationship management, including development and implementation of strategies (Very important)
- Development category and supplier catalogues, including
- Contracts and supplier agreements experience (important)
- Cost control reports, methods, quality improvement, and lead time improvement (important)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
