Job Description
My client is looking to take on a permanent Procurement Manager in their team near the Buckinghamshire area.
The Procurement Manager role will involve:
- Managing the Procurement department
- Defining and developing an effective procurement strategy and implementation
- Devising and agreeing cost down projects to achieve overall business targets
- Overall management of the supply chain and procurement teams; setting goals and KPI’s to achieve team targets
- Overall responsibility for the working capital on all components in the UK and Ireland
- Taking charge of strategic and category procurement for all materials, analyze current prices, and manage working capital effectively
- Providing management with regular updates on overall spending
