An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven individual to join our Finance team as Head of Finance

• Delivery of detailed, accurate financial planning; long term business plan, annual budget, monthly re-forecasting and scenario planning
• Continually improving and developing the models and analytics used; support potential planning system implementation
• Support scenario planning, taking a pragmatic approach when appropriate
• Offering tactical decisions to manage cash-flow
• Develop and maintain business analytics to support strategic decision making
• Support the development of tools to help improve the financial planning process
• Be a champion of robust business processes and controls to maximize cash and all associated reporting. Identify areas for process improvements and implement robust solutions
• Proactively identify, record and communicate any financial risks and opportunities to key stakeholders and the CFO
• Challenge assumptions in the current year budget and look for continuous performance improvement
• Create an environment of financial integration across the whole finance team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 7-10 years PQE
• Proven post-qualified experience at a managerial level
• Commercially focused finance professional, comfortable with month end financial controls and forecasting
• Strong FP&A and business partnering experience (ideally with modelling skills)
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills with the ability to communicate financial information at all levels
• Comfortable using Excel, with ideally Power Query capability
• Ideally from an Automotive background, but otherwise with strong consumer-focussed industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively
• Ability to build good relationships with people
• Strong risk management
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to explain financial information to non-finance people
• Ability to work under pressure
