Job Description

This person will lead direct sales of company’s market leading solutions to the UK's Financial Services & Insurance organizations that are not currently Workday customers, focused on bringing digital transformation and driving increased organizational performance.

This incredible opportunity would suit someone with a passion for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Account Executives in the software space.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the VP of FSI to help build out the FSI (Financial Services Industry) team; the first private sector verticalized team in EMEA. Of the 290 customers in EMEA, 83 sit within FSI, and the need for continued growth, expansion & innovation is key!
  • Actively coach, support, and lead the FSI net new Medium & Large Enterprise sales team around account coverage, territory management, demand generation and opportunity execution
  • Articulate company’s impact on business value to C-Level executives and build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion
  • Shape deal strategy to craft new opportunities where none previously exist
  • Effectively position company’s unique & compelling value proposition in a highly competitive market
  • Drive company's outstanding culture and cross-group collaboration as a member of the local leadership team
  • Nurture & build mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Successful Regional Sales Directors demonstrate a strong ability to drive account development, pipeline generation activities and lead an equitable territory distribution model where team members each can achieve their sales goals. These individuals are highly capable of developing and leading executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions, whilst also leading negotiation planning, strategy, and execution.

  • Experience running a team of highly skilled opportunity-creating and business-transformational Account Executives within the SaaS space
  • Knowledge & experience operating within the Financial Services & Insurance sector is highly preferred but not essential
  • Ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a collaborative approach
  • Integrity is pivotal to everything you do, doing what's right is a non-negotiable for you
  • Consistent track record of exceeding company sales quotas and forecasts in a complex sales environment
  • Experience in territory management and planning, at the regional and account levels
  • Expertise with teaching, coaching, and training sales methodologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills
