Job Description

You’ll need to have a strong awareness of risk and control frameworks, as you’ll be responsible for monitoring and enhancements of controls over financial reporting.

You’ll make.

• Providing support to the finance manager to ensure that controls are fit for purpose and of a high standard and, ensuring that the population of S-Ox controls is complete, and that Heracles is up to date
• Supporting design and operating effectiveness testing of controls in line with internal procedures and the S-Ox Control Self-Assessment (CSA) campaign deadlines.
• Coordinating the new product process (PIAP) across CFO and communicating the impact analysis from CFO colleagues to the ‘Product Office’ ensuring all stakeholder groups are kept fully up to date with developments.
• Supporting the S-Ox campaign through issuance of communications, tracking responses, reporting on progress
• Acting as an extension to the SOx team and support with various ad-hoc tasks, including sending out comms to control owners, updating of progress during key campaigns and providing SOx control framework support on bank wide projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong process and data management skills along with good Microsoft office knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills / ability to build collaborative business relationships
• Understanding of Risk and Risk Management
• Part qualified accountant or equivalent
• Financial reporting experience / experience in a large Finance department
