Your new role
As the Finance Manager you will take the responsibility of mentoring two members of staff. Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will oversee the entire finance function to include payroll:-
Monthly management accounts
Lead on audit
Fixed assets
Purchase/Sales ledger and Credit Control
Payroll on Sage payroll
Budgets, forecasts
Costing
Profit and loss
Cash book
Stock taking and variance analysis
Bank reconciliation
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
As a Finance Manager this won't just be about the numbers, you will have experience of people management, you must be a self starter and have worked in a fast paced environment, ideally you will have run a Payroll in Sage. You must have excellent Excel skills and pick up systems with ease.
