Job Description
We have registered a new opportunity to work for a superb SME as the new Finance Manager, reporting into the Finance Partner. Managing a small team, you will be responsible for preparing the firms accounts, with full financial control for two offices.
Responsibilities
This position will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Preparation of the annual budget based on targets, estimating future capital expenditure and projected salaries and overheads.
- Monitor profitability by project and advise the Partners of any issues.
- Prepare management accounts annually to include depreciation and work in progress for external accountants.
- Prepare and update cash flow on a monthly basis for Partners meetings.
- Prepare the monthly payroll, including payments to employees and submissions to the Inland Revenue and the pension provider using Sage Payroll.
- Attend monthly meetings at either the Oxford or Bristol Office, to deliver management and financial reports including fees forecast to the Partners.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the credit control function.
- Ensure that the Credit Controller carries out the day-to-day credit control duties.
