Job Description
- Take responsibility for monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the preparation of Management Accounts schedules with variance analysis
- Support the divisional Head of Finance with budgeting, forecasting and internal reporting.
- Prepare, review and reconcile VAT returns
- Play an active role in the ongoing review of internal process documentation, and support annual audit
- Work with the wider team to ensure policies regarding banking, company credit cards and expenses are followed and continuously reviewed
- Work with the centralized transactional team (including Credit Control and Accounts Payable)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- CIMA, ACCA (or equivalent) part-qualified, finalist or qualified
- An eagerness to develop within a fast-moving organization is essential
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of structured month-end close procedures
- Current working knowledge of VAT accounting
