Job Description
  • Weekly Sales Report to be sent to the business for Core Events 
  • Ongoing development of the weekly sales reporting for all Joint Venture contracts.
  • These reports should be reviewed regularly and updated to keep relevant.
  • Any issues with sales missing targets should be highlighted to senior management as soon as they become apparent.
  • Self-Billing invoices raised for the sales reports.
  • Raise Manual Invoices / Credit Notes on request.
  • Work with Operations to review cost budgets agreed with Joint Ventures.
  • Ensure spend is in line with agreed budgets and charges to Joint Ventures are made as soon as possible post event.
  • Review event budgets on a regular basis and communicate any concerns regarding achievement of forecast profit as soon as possible
  • Process weekly payroll for temporary staff
  • Monthly reconciliation of the Balance Sheet ensuring all balances are understood, investigated and resolved if necessary.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of budgets and forecasts that need to be submitted regularly to the Group UK and Ireland.
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate financial controls, processes and procedures exist in respect of day-to-day financial functions.
  • Ownership from a financial perspective of Premier Service facility management.
  • Monthly reconciliations of Marketing Costs (Overheads and Events).
  • Monthly Commissions calculations for the New Business element.
  • Month end Journal posting and full month end ownership.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Finance Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Part Qualified Accountant - must be actively studying and recently written an exam
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge
  • Advanced Excel knowledge essential with exposure to Charts/Graphs, Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Take a proactive approach to developing the role
