Review of Client's financial records and the bookkeeping carried out by them or a bookkeeper ensuring that their data is accurate and error-free.
Preparation of client's VAT Returns and supporting documents and filing of the VAT Return to HMRC.
Preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts ensuring all year end journals are posted (accruals, prepayments, depreciation etc.) and all balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
Preparation of Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax Returns.
Producing monthly management accounts as required by Clients, the detail of which will vary by Client.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this Accountant role, applicants will ideally be part or fully qualified (ACA or ACCA) with recent experience gained within an Accountancy Practice - including preparing year end accounts.
You will have exceptional communication skills and a desire to learn and contribute to the team.
