Job Description

This is a 6-12 month day rate or FTC opportunity with excellent compensation, ideally available at 2-4 week’s notice. Experience in FD/CFO positions within Private Equity is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Initially managing the existing accounting team with a view to creating your own team of accountants and controller 
• Prepare monthly Pnl’s and Balance sheets all reconciled to third party statements and back office system
• Design and implement full set of controls and daily processes working with operations and risk management team 
• Assess which accounting package to use going forward
• Oversee cash flows, cash management, working capital and budgeting 
• Manage relationships with banks and local auditors and advisors

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• The candidate should be CPA, ACA qualified or equivalent with a strong background in finance and management, as well as be willing to get their hands dirty in the details if necessary
• Significant experience in Private Equity is highly desirable.
• ACA or equivalent 
• 5 -8 years' senior management experience
• 8+ years private equity experience 
• Strong finance-based analytical skills, ability to see big picture and drill down into detail where required
• Decision making – proven ability to make decisions and take action
