Job Description
- Monitoring the grant accounts for the research and development units.
- Assisting with the month end process, working on prepayments and accruals.
- Building strong relationships with the budget holders and meeting to set financial expectations and assist with creating forecasts.
- Pulling together variance reports the research grant projects, spotting issues and presenting solutions to the budget holders.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience using financial accounting software and Excel in previous roles, with the ability to use VLOOKUPs, formulas and pivot tables.
