Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts
Forecast cash flow positions, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational and investment requirements
Help maintain the integrity of the general ledger and accounting system
Process accounts payable, staff expenses, corporate credit card, accounts receivable, general ledger journals and bank transactions.
Perform Credit Control on overdue debt
Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Variance Analysis to Budget and Forecast
Ensure timely and accurate Invoicing, revenue recognition, analysis and reconciliations of projects
Assist in the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for including;
Production of statutory accounts
Payroll and related payments to employees and contractors
Process the monthly Sales Commissions
Assist in the Annual Audit process
Ad Hoc projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Newly qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or 1-2 years PQE Qualified Accountant
Strong analytical and accounting/financial skills including excellent attention to detail
Team player with a commitment to a collaborative working approach
Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate accounting concepts to both finance technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills, and working to strict deadlines
Good understanding of Finance and Accounting internal controls
Experience in Xero or other such accounting packages and MS Office (particularly Excel) software
Small to medium business and Professional Services industry background preferred
