Job Description
- Preparation, completion and submission of up to 80 client accounts (Limited, sole trader and partnership)
- Completion and submission of VAT returns
- Tax Returns
- Raising and processing invoices, chasing payments where necessary
- Bank reconciliations and forecasting
- Statutory year end reporting
- Keeping up to date technically and providing accurate and efficient advice to clients
- Work to tight deadlines to ensure business objectives are met
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, or Finalist (or equivalent)
- Experience of online accounting software including Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
- Minimum two years recent experience in Public Practice
- Experience in the preparation of statutory and management accounts and working with incomplete records
- Experience with UK taxation
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Fantastic organizational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work under your own initiative
