Job Description
  • Posting/Approving invoices on purchase and sales ledger
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Data entry of sales and purchase ledgers into the accounting system
  • Managing the shared accounts mailbox
  • Aged Debtors/Creditors reporting
  • Receipt incoming monies to correct leaseholder accounts
  • Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Send out arrears letters and chase unpaid debts. Liaise with solicitors to ensure money collected
  • Assist the Client accountant to prepare service charge year-end accounts for submission to accountant
  • Collating documents for send off to external auditors
  • Send year-end accounts and balancing charges with cover letters to leaseholders
  • Quarterly (and sometimes monthly) Variance Reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and a can-do attitude
  • Experience in the property industry and prior bookkeeping experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with key stakeholders
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Property Management
  • Purchase Ledger
