Preparing the monthly management accounts, ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled.
Preparing monthly prepayments and accruals.
Preforming bank reconciliations.
Accounting for fixed assets.
Accounting for share based payments.
Preparing quarterly VAT returns.
Accounting and reconciling intercompany balances.
Taking responsibility of the year-end audit process by preparing an audit file and helping with the preparation of the financial statements.
Working with other teams to ensure raising of sales invoices and debt collection.
Making sure purchase invoices are processed and paid.
Supporting the annual corporation tax filing process.
Supporting the budgeting process and entry into the forecasting model.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
you are expected to be a Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who actively studying to complete the qualification.
It is essential you are a hands-on methodical and knowledgeable accounts professional.
You have to possess strong Excel and it will be highly advantageous if you have experience of another accounting system.
You have to have an ability to be a team player, handle sensitive information, be flexible and open minded.
It is important you are passionate about finance and desire to learn and develop further.
