Monthly management accounts and variance analysis for submission to both the Company's board of directors and the Group finance team for incorporation in the Group's consolidated accounts.
Monthly cash forecasting and reporting.
Quarterly profit forecasting.
Annual budget including setting of departmental budgets with assistance for departmental heads and monitoring of those costs.
Annual published IFRS statutory financial statements.
Deputies for the Finance Director when required.
Continuous improvement of the financial processes and procedures required to support the development of the business including improving internal control process and procedures.
Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by the Company's board and Group finance team.
Liaising with finance teams from other Group companies.
Liaising with auditors, bankers and external advisors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) accountant with strong technical and analytical skills (including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel)
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate that they are a progressive thinker who can drive improvements in the Company's reporting processes and internal control procedures.
This role will appeal to an accountant who likes a 'hands on' position as it will involve significant communication and analysis of all business areas and processes.
