Develop and maintain 'best practice’ systems, processes and procedures that meet legal, regulatory and business requirements and progress the firm
Guide and assist the Management Board in the practical financial management
Identify, design and deliver relevant financial awareness and skill programmers
Assist the Management Board and Finance Director to manage and develop finance processes
Assisting in developing a Financial Management Strategy
Assist with the production of financial accounts, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Assisting in the setting and management of Partner’s drawings and capital contributions and repayments
Production of routine management
Help continually develop and maintain the Business Intelligence dashboard to ensure we are providing the Firm with key financial metrics.
Monitoring of financial metrics, highlighting concerns to the Management Board
Assist with Finance Director with the supervision of Payroll
Liaise with our Accountants in preparation of Partnership accounts, tax computations and tax returns, and inform Partners of entries for their personal tax return
Preparation of ad hoc management reports
Preparation of annual and half yearly budgets and forecasts for the Firm and departments and cash flow projections
Assisting in the improvement of time recording
Evaluation of specific prospective projects to assess resource requirement, profitability and risk
Identify, design and deliver relevant financial management programmers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified accountant
Experience of strategic financial planning and implementation
Knowledge of current financial reporting standards, UK financial and tax law
A "commercial" approach to business management
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills
Ability and experience to work with a Management Board
Able to work without supervision but prepared to consult when necessary
