Job Description

The Head of Finance is a senior position reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and working with the Managing Director for Private Patients. It will have full responsibility for financial leadership and services that support Moorfields Private Patients enabling the delivery of business growth and improving the quality of the financial services offered.
The role will have overall responsibility for providing a full and robust business analytics/support infrastructure for the Private Patients Service of the Trust including: -

• Service line profitability analysis;
• Financial management and accounting;
• Financial systems and reporting;
• Financial governance risk and compliance;
• Business support and treasury service (billing and pricing);
• Performance & information.

During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed. The probationary period may be extended or your employment terminated either during or at the end of probation, in line with the trust Probationary Policy. For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.
