Job Description
The Director Finance is responsible for all management accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting and other statutory requirements across the company group of companies. This includes developing accounting principles, practices, procedures & controls to ensure accurate, timely financial activities and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the timely preparation of management accounts
- Lead the budget process for the annual cycle and all new initiatives
- Liaise with the Finance Manager to manage the processing invoices and payments
- Responsible for cash flow reporting (actual and forecasting)
- Management of intercompany agreements and transactions
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Responsible for share options (including grant paperwork, tax reporting, HMRC valuation and accounting)
- Responsibility for all Company Secretarial Matters including board minutes, cap table, SEIS/EIS filings and Companies House filings
- Maintain robust internal controls and strong corporate governance required to minimise risks and suggest improvements to controls and processes
- Responsible for insurance policies for the Group and the annual Festival
- Manage and work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, bankers, corporate secretaries and other service providers to ensure compliance
- Manage and coach the CogX Finance Manager
