Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading on all aspects of financial planning, feeding directly to the Board as well as the wider business.
Responsibilities include:
- General oversight of all financials across the business- Financial reporting and administration, regulatory reporting and oversight, managing cash flow
- Overseeing the expansion of the business- Helping to structure JVs or franchises and working with the founder to set up new businesses
- Managing and developing the finance team- Serving as a point person for existing staff at the company
- Overseeing purchasing and vendors- Negotiating the best deals, approving company expenditure and ensuring appropriate insurances are in place company-wide
- Budgeting- Creating and maintaining company budgets, forecasting revenue streams and managing cost base
- Payroll and HR- Managing payroll across the company, issuing new employee contracts and overseeing any visa issues
- Investment- Working with the founder on securing investment for the company, shepherding investments to closure and managing share structure within the company
