Job Description

This role is about holding the Global Sales & Marketing team to account for the delivery of its business targets (for main vehicle operations, our Special Operations, Motorsport, Aftersales and Events).

  • In partnership with the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, deliver the business plan targets for:
    • Car Sales and Revenue
    • Cash Collection from Car Sales
    • Stock of finished vehicles
    • Stock of fleet vehicles
    • Sales and Marketing Team budgets
  • Team Management of a globally regional financial support team
  • Provide a business partnering approach to key stakeholders
  • Provide regular and timely reports and analysis relating to actual and forecast sales and revenue, by model, by region, by month.
  • Provide regular and timely reports and analysis relating to actual and forecast cash flow, debtors, team costs and stock levels.
  • Overall responsibility of all debtors and cash collection within the business
  • Budgetary responsibility
  • Manage, mentor and coach team members
  • Forecast FX requirements for global car sales.
  • Act as the conduit within your business area, feedback to senior stakeholders as required
  • Set clear goals and objectives for team and manage as appropriate
  • Covering all commercial areas of the business:
    • Main vehicle operations
    • Special Operations
    • Motorsport
    • Aftersales
    • Events

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Fully qualified accountant or MBA with proven post qualified experience at Senior Manager or Director level
  • Demonstrable experience within a cross functional business; commercial, sales & marketing, operations engineering and product development, fast-paced and ever evolving environment
  • Proven leadership experience of managing a finance/commercial team
  • Experience of business partnering with sales & marketing and/or operations and product development.
  • Provides examples of change management and process implementation
  • Demonstrates a continuous improvement approach to work, including but not limited to, identifying areas for process improvements and implementing robust solutions
  • SAP and managing SAP standardization/new processes would be an advantage
  • Be strong another to hold Executive Directors and other key stakeholders to account for the delivery of the business targets.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Change management
  • Identify risks and escalate/manage as necessary
  • Able to articulate financial data and analytical information
  • Simplify complexity
  • Work to deadlines, prioritizing where necessary
