Job Description

You will be a senior client owner for a portfolio of Financial Institution (FI) accounts, accountable for leading and delivering distinctive client experiences. A typical day could include client strategy sessions, interaction with our brokers on marketing tactics or outcomes, client planning discussions with the client team, collaborating with colleagues in other business areas to improve client experience, one-to-one’s with your reports and Leadership meetings to assist with shaping the direction of the overall business.

Responsibilities and Behaviors will include:

  • Delivery of business results against financial and operational metrics meeting new, retention, and rollover targets as well as seeking opportunities across other solution lines to increase Aon penetration.
  • Constant development of company – through formal training and knowledge sharing in addition to participation in Client Planning, maintains proven understanding of all our services and ensures that the client understands the full value delivered.
  • Role models partnership at every level, collaboration, integrity and respect to deliver the best of our firm to our clients.
  • Supports company’s Talent agenda to build and grow diverse and inclusive teams. The role will have 1-3 colleagues reporting in to you.
  • Communicates effectively and gives/receives feedback to continually elevate the success of the team.
  • Ability to act on feedback to ensure appropriate remediation plans can delivered.
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the our Risk Management Framework, and compliance with our policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience in Key Account Management - builds and maintains deep client relationships and uses that capital to understand objectives, influence client thinking, ability to negotiate effectively and create results.an ability to grow clients
  • Collaborative approach - with a track record of coaching and building alignment of internal client teams on related work streams.
  • Consulting skills - identifies client needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognizes challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome
  • Industry IQ - deep knowledge and experience of the financial sector; proven understanding of the themes, trends and issues by industry plus an ability to match those trends and themes to relevant company solutions and resources
