Job Description
- Depending on your experience to date you will be responsible for the preparation of accounts up to trial balance for a range of clients from Partnerships to Limited companies.
- Maintaining sales ledgers and purchase ledgers, reconciling bank statements.
- Utilizing various accounting packages prepare clients VAT returns
- CIS returns
- All aspects of bookkeeping
- As you progress you will be involved in more complex accounts production.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Previous experience within a similar role
- At least 1 year’s current bookkeeping experience, ideally gained within a practice environment
- Min AAT 2 qualified studying level 3
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Knowledge of Sage/Xero accounting software (desirable)
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to manage and priorities workloads
