Use Xero to produce bookkeeping records for clients
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare management accounts for outsourcing clients including month end journals for payroll, accruals and prepayments.
Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT returns.
Be the source of contact for the outsourcing clients and any queries with regards to the process of the applications used to produce the bookkeeping transactions.
This may include client training on the processes or applications used.
Identify where clients would benefit from moving to Xero or from our outsourcing services.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AAT qualified/equivalent experience
Strong up to date working knowledge of softwares such as Xero, as well as Microsoft Office.
Experience with accruals, prepayments and data analysis are essential
Experienced at VAT return preparation
Numerate and knowledgeable on accounting principles (i. double entry bookkeeping/prepayments/accruals)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, able to liaise with people at all levels including clients of the firm.
High attention to detail and accuracy skill.
Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team to deliver work on a timely basis.
Good problem-solving skills, and able to use initiative.
