An exciting opportunity to join Standard Chartered Bank's growing Leveraged and Acquisition Finance business.

The role will include but not be limited, the following responsibilities.

• Lead LAF transactions, focused on Europe & Americas, working with client teams and across products to cross-sell and execute deals
• Organize and drive business success through improvement in client penetration and profitability in conjunction with coverage partners
• Support the continued growth of the High Yield and leveraged loan business
• Be aware of the group business strategy of servicing clients by leveraging our footprint and building franchise
• Originating and executing high yield bond and leveraged loan deals
• Proactively advise and monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/ or ensure adequate escalation and reporting to the Board and its Risk Committees.
• Support the LAF business to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience in originating and executing new loans within the UK and Europe
• Strong credit assessment skills including excellent debt/cash flow modelling experience
• Display strong interpersonal skills and a proactive team player
• Effective communicator with the ability to work under pressure and change
