The sucesfull Accounts and Audit Assistant will join a small close knit team. This role is ideally suited to an Accounts and Audit Semi Senior looking for anew environemtn or an Accounts and Audit assistant looking to grow their responsiblities.

Full time, permanent role.

Accounts Semi-Senior Position Overview

Preparation of Year End Accounts

Be involved with the planning and undertaking of Audits

Preparation of Management Accounts and recommendations

Finalising paperwork and liaising with clients

VAT returns

Bookkeeping

Corporation Tax returns

Building and maintaining client relationships

Assisting and training clients with accounting software

Assisting with Juniors

Opportunity to undertake business development

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous experience in similar role Preferably AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or working towards Qualified by Experience encouraged to apply Must have minimum 3-4 years previous experience within a UK Accountancy Practice Previous experience with Audit beneficial Confident with a variety of Accounting software including Xero and IRIS Ideally driver with own car due to location and Audit responsibilities
