Job Description

This represents a key role within a small finance department to develop the systems capability and deliver budgets / forecasts as well as monitoring ongoing Risks & Opportunities. The role holder will be expected to drive initiatives to improve insight, quality, and accuracy of reporting. A key link between Finance and commercial teams to facilitate month end and forecasting activities whilst ensuring Finance offers valuable insight to all business units.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• You’ll be a Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with strong commercial acumen and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Strong presentation skills, with experience of converting large amounts of data into digestible executive summaries.
• Prior systems implementation and business system administration and a high degree of IT literacy including advanced excel skills - highly effective systems and analytical skills.
• You will have a challenger mindset and problem solver, demonstrable experience of acting on their own initiative to solve problems
• Previous experience working within a business partnering capacity working alongside commercial functions of a business
• Strong analytical skills with previous experience of forecast, budget and management reporting
• Experience working in the technology industry with a passion for technology preferred
