Accounts Assistant

Job Description
  • Overall management of the Purchase Ledger including payment runs and month end reporting
  • Set up of new supplier and expense accounts
  • Weekly cashflow input
  • Maintain customs documentation logs
  • Purchase requisition/purchase order production
  • Expenses processing and resolving any related queries 
  • Other ad-hoc finance duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • AAT qualification
  • Strong numerical ability
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner - able to be firm when required
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a methodical, detailed and organized manner
  • Able to work well within a team environment but also with limited supervision
  • Proactive and confident to challenge the status quo to improve processes
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic
  • Flexible and willing attitude
  • Good excel skills
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage
