Job Description
- Lead the financial accounting function ensuring the completion of month and year end processes
- Manage the work of Finance Officer and Credit Controller/Assistant Accountant and support the Finance Business Partner with relevant information for the management accounts
- Oversee the treasury function (including bank accounts, investments, corporate credit cards, PayPal and other similar accounts)
- Act as trainer and coach in rolling out training, communicating, influencing and persuading all staff in the expectations in the use of financial processes
- Complete all statutory and regulatory reporting and act as the first point of contact for key external suppliers and regulators
- Other duties and responsibilities relevant to the level and scope of the post
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with excellent technical accounting skills and previous experience managing a small team.
