Job Description
  • Managing Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Processing and raising invoices
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and final year end accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Chasing overdue or outstanding debt
  • File quarterly VAT returns - experience in Domestic Reverse Charge VAT is preferred
  • Calculating wages weekly from timesheets and monthly salaries
  • Prepare monthly pension payment
  • Project application processing
  • Petty cash control
  • Negotiate renewals
  • General accounts related queries
  • Ad hoc administration duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Accounts or Bookkeeping
  • AAT Level 4 or ACA qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience of using SAGE 50 is desirable
  • IT literate - Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
  • Professional and polite telephone manner
  • Ability to support a junior member of the team
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Reconciliation
  • CIS returns
