Job Description
  • Posting income and expenditure from bank statements
  • Reconciling service charge accounts
  • Paying contractor invoices
  • Raising periodic service charge demands and any other charges due and sending them to lessees
  • Preparing income & expenditure reports and sending these to clients
  • Preparation of annual service charge budgets, liaising with clients and Property Managers
  • Preparing service charge year end accounts
  • Liaising with external accountants and agreeing on draft accounts with clients
  • Meeting deadlines on budgets, sending out charges and preparing year end accounts.
  • Responding to and managing queries from leaseholders
  • Supporting Property Managers with any account related queries

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in an accounts role essential
  • Previous experience in property accounting (rental, ground rent, service charges, etc) is preferable but not essential
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organized with good common sense
  • A friendly and polite approach to clients and a helpful attitude to colleagues
