Job Description
  • Responsibility for the Sales Ledger:
  • Efficiently manage the debtor ledger, resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Distribute customer statements and chasing letters.
  • Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger:
  • Produce weekly/monthly payment runs.
  • Agent commission. Produce weekly payments, resolve queries and maintain internal accounting spreadsheets.
  • Control petty cash, post vouchers to the General Ledger and reconcile at month end.
  • Process inward receipts (cheques) including the banking of cheques.
  • Daily Bank reconciliation.
  • Responsibility for the Fixed Asset registers and depreciation calculations.
  • Provide assistance with the budget and forecasting processes.
  • Compile monthly draft management accounts.
  • Assist in month end duties such as balance sheet reconciliations .
  • Participate in ad hoc activities and reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • The successful candidate will need to be AAT qualified, as well as having sufficient sage and excel experience.
